Despite being out of favor at club level with Forest in the Premier League, Turner remained in his starting role with the U.S. for the March international tournament, and it now seems like he will continue in that role into the Copa America this summer. Questions surfaced over whether or not the 29-year-old would remain in net after a rough winter with his club, but Berhalter has consistently backed his starting goalkeeper.

The U.S. will now go about preparing for a pair of international friendlies against both Brazil and Colombia this June ahead of the Copa America. Turner and Forest, meanwhile, will take on Crystal Palace on Saturday, March 30. Sitting 18th in the table heading into the match, the Premier League side were recently hit with a four-point deduction to breaking financial rules, but they're appealing the punishment.
