Manchester United will be hoping to get one over on Liverpool this weekend. It seems incredibly unlikely – the Reds are still unbeaten in the Premier League so far this season, and currently top the table by a huge 14 points – but given they are the only side to stop Jurgen Klopp’s men from winning so far, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and co will be confident of picking up something on Sunday. There will however, be one main difference between that 1-1 draw at Old Trafford last year and Sunday’s clash: Mohamed Salah will be fit and fighting. At least, that is what the man himself has said when asked why the Red Devils were able to get away with a draw earlier this term. When asked the question, he replied: “Because I was injured”.The big fat Liverpool quiz of 2019 – how much do you remember about the last year at Anfield? This has brought plenty of reaction from Reds supporters, and it is fair to say many love the quotes.
On the whole, it is rather funny. Salah appears to be joking when he says it, but he will be hoping he can make a big impact at the weekend.
One fan though, has made a very interesting point.
So far, Salah is yet to even score once against United since joining Liverpool. Bearing in mind he has already played them on four separate occasions, he should perhaps remain quiet before the clash.
