Bayern Munich star Alphonso Davies has signed a new contract at Bayern Munich until 2030. The full-back was into the last six months of his deal with the Bundesliga giants but has now penned fresh terms on a long-term deal until 2030.

Davies was reported to be a kay target for Real Madrid, who have made a habit of approaching illustrious names within the last few months of their contracts. Kylian Mbappe signed on those terms last summer, while they are said to be keen on snagging Trent Alexander-Arnold on a free in 2025.

Davies signed for Bayern from Vancouver Whitecaps in January 2019 and has had an extremely successful few seasons with the club. The Canada talisman has won five Bundesliga titles as well as the 2020 Champions League, and will now, aged just 24, surely add to his trophy cabinet in years to come.

Davies is currently out with a hamstring injury and is likely to be absent for another month. Rapael Guerreiro is currently filling in on the left side of defence but the return of their first-choice on that side is crucial as Bayern aim to win back their Bundesliga title and go the distance in the Champions League.
