Ronaldo's Al Nassr, who finished second in the Saudi Pro League last season, are reportedly interested in launching a surprise move for Fernandes. Al Nassr are keen to sign a new central midfielder and Fernandes is one of the names on their list, according to ESPN.

Fernandes' future has been under close scrutiny since the 29-year-old admitted he will leave if he's no longer wanted at Old Trafford. It has also been reported that the midfielder, who earns £220,000 a week, wants to be among United's highest earners; for comparison, Marcus Rashford earns £365,000 a week.

Fernandes isn't the only Premier League star being considered by Al Nassr. ESPN's report also claims that the club are prepared to offer Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson more than £600,000 a week to leave the reigning English champions.
