West Ham appear keen to get business done before the close of play on January Deadline Day. According to The Daily Mail, the Irons have already seen an offer rejected by Anderlecht for midfielder Leander Dendoncker, while they’re also interested in Lille’s Ibrahim Amadou as well.
Of course, there is the potential to get both players through the door at the London Stadium before tonight’s 11pm deadline. But that does seem like a bit of a stretch for the club, both in terms of finance and the time they can devote to each potential signing as the transfer cutoff looms.
So, West Ham fans, if your club can only sign one midfielder today, who would you choose? Would you opt for the four-cap Belgium international, or focus the club’s attentions on Amadou – who Transfermarkt value at just £2.25million – instead?
